Premier Luxury Neighborhoods on Lake Norman
Denver · Troutman · Mooresville · Davidson · Cornelius · Huntersville
Lake Norman's premier neighborhoods offer different versions of luxury, from gated waterfront estates and private yacht clubs to championship golf communities, custom homes and resort-style condominiums.
For The Petrenko Group, the focus lands on established high-end waterfront communities, exclusive luxury enclaves and emerging luxury neighborhoods that attract affluent buyers and potential sellers.
Jump to a town
One lake, many versions of luxury
Lake Norman's luxury market includes landmark country-club communities, waterfront estates and private residential enclaves. The choices range from gated island estates and private yacht clubs to championship golf communities, custom homes and resort-style condominiums, and the right one depends on how you actually want to live on the water.
The six towns below each carry a different slice of that inventory, and within each town a handful of neighborhoods set the standard. The tables are the working shortlist we use when a buyer arrives with a preference and no list.

South Mooresville Waterfront Communities
Three geographic corridors south of downtown
South of downtown, three geographic corridors carry much of Mooresville's luxury waterfront inventory: Langtree Peninsula, Camino Real and Templeton Road. The Town of Mooresville identifies Langtree Road and Templeton Road as significant Lake Norman peninsulas, while Camino Real is a distinctive waterfront road within the broader Templeton area. These are geographic marketing corridors, not three single subdivisions, and some communities appear under more than one corridor. Each property is assigned to its MLS subdivision when building market reports, so sales are never double-counted.
Langtree Peninsula
Primary luxury focus
The Town of Mooresville identifies Langtree Road as a significant Lake Norman peninsula, and these communities are documented across the greater Langtree Peninsula area, including in The Petrenko Group's existing community guide.

Templeton Road Waterfront Communities
Templeton Road Peninsula
The Town of Mooresville identifies Templeton Road as a significant Lake Norman peninsula. It connects the greater Langtree and Alcove Road areas to several established waterfront pockets, and local planning and property records support the connected Templeton-Camino Real-Queens Cove geography.

Match the town to your life
Community character is only half the equation on Lake Norman. Waterfront value rides on the dock, the depth at the dock face and the shoreline record, and those rules apply equally to every neighborhood on the lake. Start with the Lake Norman section, then read the due-diligence posts before you tour.
